If you can’t fall asleep you are not alone, I can’t switch off at night, this is a common problem world-wide. And i find the older I get, the worse it gets.
Which led me to doing a bit of sleep homework, the more active your brain is at night, the less chance you have of falling asleep right away. And the repercussion of this is that too little sleep, consistently, leads to stress, irritability, zero work output and, in worst case scenarios, depression.
The answer I came up with is CBD Oil ! This oil literally changed my life! A few drops at night when you go to bed and you sleep like a baby, I kid you not.
The reason for this is that CBD Oil has anti-anxiety properties and the ability to promote relaxation. Compounds called cannabinoids in the plant are responsible for the effects on the brain, the most effective of these are THC and CBD.
Both THC and CBD are psychoactive, but they don’t affect the brain in the same way. CBD is non-impairing and THC makes you “foggy”. So for those who need to take the Oil during the day, make sure your oil does not contain THC.
Not only does CBD enable you to fall asleep easier, it also supports longer sleep. In other, there is no “break” in you sleep pattern. I don’t know about you, but if I wake up 3 or 4 times a night I might as well not have slept at all!
A solid 8 hour sleep for adults is recommended for coping with general daily activities. A constant 8 hours, in other words, 8 hours minimum Every night.
Lack of sleep is a result of some of the following: Caffeine: especially when consumed later on in the day. Move to decaf coffee in tha afternoons, you really can’t taste the difference. Medication: some medicines actually keep you awake, avoid these after lunch time. PTSD/Depression: post traumatic stress disorders are the main cause of sleep deprivation. And of course your mattress may be the culprit, so talk to us aboit that.
